Senior Vice President
Phil Beekman is Senior Vice President of Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation, the fundraising organization for the Hunterdon Healthcare System (hunterdonhealthcare.org) serving the communities of Hunterdon, Mercer, Somerset, and Warren County, New Jersey.
Phil has worked in the philanthropic field for more than 20 years and is a Visiting Lecturer at the Center for Excellence: Leadership, Governance and Philanthropy at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he teaches the essentials of campaigns and major gift fundraising.
Prior to his appointment at Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation, Phil was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Angeletti Group (TAG) and was a member of the firm since its inception in 2006. He was actively engaged in the Education, Healthcare, and Community Building practices helping an extensive list of leading nonprofits, independent schools, universities, and medical centers raise in excess of $1 billion during his tenure. Phil also oversaw the blueprint for TAG's daily operations.
Director of Development
Amy Tiedemann is Director of Development at Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation. Amy is a development professional with experience in all aspects of fundraising including donor relations, annual appeals, capital campaigns, and grant proposals. She received her Ph.D. in Sociology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and has worked in both academic and non-profit organizations obtaining funding to support research and direct-service projects.
Her previous position was Grant Facilitator at the School of Social Work at Rutgers University where she provided comprehensive grant proposal development support to faculty and staff. She has also been a Grants Manager for a small non-profit organization, responsible for identifying grant prospects, writing and submitting proposals, and completing all grant reporting, as well as Senior Research Analyst for the Rutgers Center for State Health Policy.
Planned Giving Specialist
The Foundation is delighted to welcome a longtime resident of Hunterdon County, Mr. John M. Bonk as Hunterdon Healthcare's Planned Giving Specialist. With over 40 years of experience, John is a career estate planning professional skilled in charitable trust administration and investment management strategies. He is available to consult with prospective and current donors on recent and emerging changes in planned charitable giving enabling donors to optimize the tax and investment benefits of their contemplated gift to the Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation. Director of Major Gifts
Steven Lapicki is Director of Major Gifts at the Foundation. Steve has extensive experience building relationships with donors that have the capacity to make major philanthropic contributions. He has directed development activities and alumni relations in several large University settings including the University of Pennsylvania, Graduate School of Education and Johns Hopkins University, Whiting School of Engineering.
At Hunterdon Healthcare, Steve will be responsible for leading our major gift, physician, and family medicine resident alumni engagement programs.
